Surrounded by feelings of pain, confusion, anxiety, anger, or sadness? Ever thought, “How did I end up here?” You may have never expected to find yourself where you are today. Those around you may not be aware of the pain you feel, or they may be pleading with you to seek help. I believe counseling can provide comfort and serve as a catalyst for personal growth.

Counseling is a team process between the therapist and the client. Some benefits of counseling may include: exploring solutions to problems, emotional support, improved relationships, increased coping skills, reduced anger, reduced isolation, improved self-esteem, positive change, and finding deeper meaning and purpose in life.

In addition to in person outpatient appointments at my Marietta office, I am now offering HIPAA secure online counseling for anyone in the state of Georgia. The majority of my client’s start therapy by coming weekly or every other week and then taper down to monthly or as needed. To be a good fit for this frequency of care, it is important that you are reasonably safe and resourceful since I am not available at all times. I require a brief phone screen for all new clients, you can schedule today by calling (678) 969-4188, emailing https://sendsafe.to/elizabeth.uhles@gmail.com or schedule directly using the request appointment link above.

If you are afraid that you are in danger to yourself or another person or are having a mental health emergency, I recommend that you call the Behavioral Health Link at 800-715-4225, or the National Crisis Line at 800-273-8255, or go to your nearest emergency room or call 911.

While the rates above are my standard rates, it is my desire that therapy be accessible. I keep a limited number of sliding scale appointment slots. Please do not hesitate to call me at 678-969-4188 if you would like to discuss.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call: (888) 551-5168.
