Alcohol & Drug

Outpatient therapy for alcohol or drugs concerns may be appropriate in the early stages of dependance when you want to cut back and learn new coping skills. It is also appropriate for relapse prevention after you have been stabilized and have been able to sustain remission. Outpatient therapy for alcohol/ drugs is not always appropriate if you are in the midst of active addiction and need detox, in-patient support or a higher level of care such as a partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient therapy.

Some people are required to complete an alcohol/drug evaluation for work or court. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine what level of care/ how many alcohol/drug sessions are appropriate for each individual. Evaluations are scheduled by appointment by calling (678) 969-4188.

We perform alcohol/drug evaluations (non-DUI) for court/probation needs. The following is a list of charges/incidents that our evaluations cover:

  • Possession of Marijuana

  • Disorderly Conduct

  • VGCSA (Possession of controlled substance)

  • Failed Drug Screens

  • Minor in Possession/Consumption of Alcohol

  • Alcohol/drugs involved in an arrest

  • Possession of Paraphernalia
