Alcohol & Drug
Outpatient therapy for alcohol or drugs concerns may be appropriate in the early stages of dependance when you want to cut back and learn new coping skills. It is also appropriate for relapse prevention after you have been stabilized and have been able to sustain remission. Outpatient therapy for alcohol/ drugs is not always appropriate if you are in the midst of active addiction and need detox, in-patient support or a higher level of care such as a partial hospitalization program or intensive outpatient therapy.
Some people are required to complete an alcohol/drug evaluation for work or court. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine what level of care/ how many alcohol/drug sessions are appropriate for each individual. Evaluations are scheduled by appointment by calling (678) 969-4188.
